Microsoft InTune–Computer Management in the cloud

Posted by rrajendran on May 13, 2011

I have been testing out the InTune software from Microsoft and it has some very interesting features. For about $11 per machine, it allows you to centrally manage all your machines. Apply patches, provide support, Ensure that it is protected etc. The use interface needs getting used to, but once you are over the learning curve, this is a boon to most small and medium business !

Microsoft Lync–An Interesting proposition

Posted by rrajendran on January 10, 2011

As a long time user and proponent of Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite, I was curious to see what the new Lync solution (Replacing Office Communicator and Live Meeting) brought to the table. I must say that I am impressed.  The new features and functionality looks very slick compared to the previous version, Things which I like

- Better VOIP integration, ability to transfer calls live to other devices

- Better Office integration

- Better information on the contacts

-Ability to IM with Live Messenger, Google talk etc.

I will keep posting my experience here in the future…

Remember, this is available with BPOS. So make the move now. Try it…
